After a string of six wins, St. Pius X Catholic's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a blow against the North Oconee Titans, falling 64-27. While losing is never fun, the Golden Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 111th, while the Titans are ranked 18th).

St. Pius X Catholic's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-6. As for North Oconee, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 15-1.

St. Pius X Catholic will square off against Northview at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for North Oconee, they will take on East Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
