Berlin Brothersvalley saw some tournament action on Saturday. They took a 40-33 hit to the loss column at the hands of Turkeyfoot Valley Area. The match marked the Mountaineers' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Even though the team lost, they still had their share of impressive performances. One of the best came from Ryan Janidlo, who posted five points. That's the most points he has posted since back in February.

Even though they lost, Berlin Brothersvalley smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've managed all season.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Juniata Valley). Everything went their way against Curwensville on Friday as Juniata Valley made off with an 85-64 win. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Hornets have posted since February 2nd.

The win got Juniata Valley back to even at 3-3. As for Berlin Brothersvalley, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-4.

Everything came up roses for Berlin Brothersvalley against Juniata Valley in their previous meeting back in December of 2023, as the squad secured a 96-59 victory.
