Baseball Recap: Bruton Takes a Loss

Bruton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They lost 11-3 to the York Falcons. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Panthers of the 3-2 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in May of 2024.

Bruton saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Ryan Hazelwood, who went 2-for-4 with one double and one RBI. Those two hits gave Hazelwood a new career-high.

Bruton's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for York, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-3 record.
