Queen Creek waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ironwood Ridge Nighthawks. The Bulldogs were shut out 2-0 the last time they took on the Nighthawks, so the Bulldogs were just returning the favor.

While Queen Creek might've won, it sure wasn't easy: Ironwood Ridge scored at least 18 points in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 25-18.

JJ Sidwell paced Queen Creek's offense, picking up 14 kills. Sidwell got some help from Lukas DeWitt and his 31 assists. Sidwell was also solid from the service line: he led the team with two aces.
