Baseball Recap: Manual Takes a Loss

Manual extended their losing streak to three on Tuesday, dropping them down to 2-13. They lost 24-1 to the Lincoln Lancers. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-2 defeat on April 10th.

Manual saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Edgar Salas, who went 1-for-2 with one triple.

As for Lincoln, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 14-4. They might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 matchups by six runs or more this season.

On Lincoln's side, Sam Trujillo was incredible, firing off six RBI, four runs, and two stolen bases while going 4-for-4. Trujillo is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played. Cairo Holguin also deserves some recognition as he hit his first triple of the season.

Coincidentally, Manual and Lincoln will both be playing Jefferson the next time they take the field. The Thunderbolts will head out to face the Jeff Saint at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Lancers will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Monday.
