Basketball Recap: Satanta Comes Up Short

If Satanta was feeling good fresh off their 55-19 takedown of Moscow last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Satanta Indians were outmatched by the Kiowa County Mavericks and fell 74-46. The Indians haven't had much luck with the Mavericks recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Satanta's loss dropped their record down to 3-14. As for Kiowa County, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 14-4 record this season.

Looking ahead, Satanta will welcome Hodgeman County at 8:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Kiowa County, they will head out on the road to square off against Minneola at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
