Baseball Recap: Mott Haven Takes a Loss

The Mott Haven Mavericks came up short against the Dodge Vocational Panthers on Thursday, falling 11-2. The game marked the Mavericks' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Mott Haven saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Luis Garcia, who went 1-for-3 with one home run. Dustin Baret was another, getting on base in two of his three plate appearances with two stolen bases and one run.

This is the second loss in a row for Mott Haven and nudges their season record down to 4-4. As for Dodge Vocational, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.
