Basketball Recap: Bowie Victorious

Bowie won the last time they faced McKinley Tech and things went their way on Saturday too. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Trainers by a score of 60-53. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

Despite the loss, McKinley Tech still got an impressive performance from Marcus Dunbar, who posted 18 points and eight boards. Another player making a difference was John Barnes, who earned ten points and five rebounds.

Bowie now has a winning record of 2-1. As for McKinley Tech, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Bowie didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 49-42 victory against Bladensburg on the 16th. McKinley Tech will take on Woodson in a holiday battle at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
