Volleyball Recap: Tompkins Starts Season with Defeat at Home + How To Watch

Tompkins unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 3-1 to the Dawson Eagles on Tuesday. The Falcons were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Eagles apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in August of 2024.

While Tompkins ultimately came up short, they really made Dawson work, particularly in the first set. The match finished with set scores of 26-24, 25-22, 22-25, 25-20.

Coincidentally, Tompkins and Dawson will both be playing Ridge Point the next time they take the court. The Eagles will head out to face the Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Falcons will play them later in the day, at 6:00 p.m.
