Flag Football Game Preview: Dover Tigers vs. Hackettstown Tigers

Dover will face off against Hackettstown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contests, so the offenses might be a little more motivated than usual.

On Tuesday, Dover came up short against Wallkill Valley and fell 20-12. While the Tigers had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Rangers 6-0.

Although Dover took the loss, they still got scores from Yohari McKay and Emella Monterola.

Meanwhile, Hackettstown faced Mount Olive in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Tigers were just a hair shy of victory and fell 13-12 to the Marauders.

Hackettstown's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Dover, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
