It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but East Rowan had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They came out on top against the South Rowan Raiders by a score of 3-1. The Mustangs have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

East Rowan was especially dominant in the third set. The match finished with set scores of 25-23, 22-25, 25-14, 25-18.

Jordan Dry had an outrageously good game as she had 24 digs. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 11 or more in the last three games she's played dating back to last season.

East Rowan was lethal from the service line and finished the game with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least five aces in 14 consecutive matches.

South Rowan's loss came despite strong showings from Raegan Shell and Campbell Withers. Shell had 16 digs and 14 assists, while Withers had 26 digs.

East Rowan has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests, which provided a nice bump to their 21-9 record this season. As for South Rowan, they dropped their record down to 15-10 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.

East Rowan will venture away from home to face off against North Iredell at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. North Iredell will roll in looking for their 23rd straight victory, something East Rowan surely won't give up without a fight. South Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
