Softball Recap: North Iowa Comes Up Short

North Iowa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Bishop Garrigan Golden Bears, falling 12-2. If the Bison were looking for revenge after losing 14-1 to the Golden Bears when the teams met back in June of 2025, then they'll just have to keep looking.

North Iowa's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Bishop Garrigan, their victory bumped their record up to 4-5.

North Iowa didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 7-5 win against West Bend-Mallard on the 9th. As for Bishop Garrigan, they will venture away from home to take on Forest City at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
