Basketball Recap: Rockbridge County Piles Up the Points Against Roanoke Catholic

There's no place like home for Rockbridge County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They blew past the Roanoke Catholic Celtics 60-26 on Friday. That 34 point margin sets a new team best for the Wildcats this season.

Abby Bouchard was the offensive standout of the matchup as she posted six points and four steals.

Rockbridge County's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Roanoke Catholic, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rockbridge County will challenge Harrisonburg at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Rockbridge County has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last four games.
