Basketball Recap: Hobart Takes a Loss

Hobart lost to Chesterton back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Brickies lost 65-41 to the Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Brickies can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 177th, while the Trojans are ranked 13th).

Hobart's loss dropped their record down to 8-4. As for Chesterton, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 12-2.

Looking ahead, Hobart will welcome Munster at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Brickies will need to watch out since the Mustangs have now posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Chesterton, they will face off against Crown Point at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Trojans will need to watch out since the Bulldogs have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
