Volleyball Recap: Licking Heights Takes a Loss

Licking Heights lost against St. Francis DeSales back in October of 2019, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Hornets fell 2-0 to the Stallions. The Hornets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Licking Heights ultimately came up short, they really made St. Francis DeSales work, particularly in the first set. The final score came out to 27-25, 25-9.

Brooklyn Hall paced Licking Heights' offense, picking up seven kills. Hall got some help from Kameron Erskine and her six assists.

Among those leading the charge was Gwen Stein, who had nine digs and three aces.

Licking Heights' loss dropped their record down to 3-5. As for St. Francis DeSales, they pushed their record up to 7-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

Licking Heights has already played their next game, a 3-1 defeat against Utica on the 9th. St. Francis DeSales has also already played their next match (against Bishop Watterson), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
