Brock Janssen and Payton Heideman certainly did their best on Monday to avoid the loss. Janssen went 5 of 12 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds, while Heideman posted 12 points and four steals. Heideman is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed four or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Grady Weyers, who had five points in addition to six assists and three steals.

Brady Schnitzer was a one-man wrecking crew for Lourdes Central Catholic as he put up 27 points along with eight boards and four steals. Schnitzer is trending in the right direction considering he's improved his point production for three straight games. Justus Kriefels also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Lewiston now has a losing record at 7-8. As for Lourdes Central Catholic, the win snapped their losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-13 record.

Lewiston will challenge Southern on February 11th. Lourdes Central Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 67-33 loss against Johnson-Brock on the 4th.
