Volleyball Recap: Ponderosa Mustangs vs. Legend Titans
Ponderosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They came up short against the Legend Titans, falling 3-0. The Mustangs were not able to make up for their loss to the Titans from their previous meeting back in April of 2025.
While Ponderosa was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Legend's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-18, 25-21.
Logan Vigil paced Ponderosa's offense, picking up eight kills. Vigil got some help from Noah Kerper and his 19 assists. Finally, Wesley Mihaly kept Ponderosa's defense grounded, leading the team with six blocks.
Legend's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Evan Jones, who had five digs and three aces. That's the most aces Jones has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacob Ware, who had nine digs and two assists.
