Volleyball Recap: Arbor View Takes a Loss

Arbor View was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Brophy College Prep Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 on Friday.

Cooper Ball paced Arbor View's offense, picking up seven kills. Ball got some help from David Haldeman and his 14 assists. Finally, Ball was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high two blocks.

Arbor View's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Brophy College Prep, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-8 record this season.

Arbor View wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 victory against Palo Verde on the 1st. As for Brophy College Prep, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 win against Casteel on the 29th.
