Softball Recap: St. Michaels Takes a Loss

St. Michaels was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 14-0 to the North Dorchester Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent loss being a 11-0 defeat last Tuesday.

St. Michaels' loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for North Dorchester, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Michaels will venture away from home to square off against Kent Island at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Dorchester, they will challenge Washington at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
