Northfield won the last time they faced Rangeview and things went their way on Friday too. The Nighthawks really took it to the Raiders for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-26 win. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-9.

Leading Northfield to victory were Madison Bethel and Delaney Dennis. Bethel posted 12 points, while Dennis put up nine points. What's more, Bethel also posted a 67% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest she's achieved since back in January of 2025. Jannia Lewis also deserves some recognition as she posted her first block of the season.

Northfield smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 17 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive boards in nine consecutive contests.

When it comes to explaining why Rangeview lost, don't look at Zania Romero. Despite the final result, she earned eight points.

Northfield is on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points over those games. As for Rangeview, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Northfield will host Monarch at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Rangeview, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Denver South at 7:00 p.m. The Raiders will be up against the Ravens' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.94 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
