Softball Recap: Sugar Creek Charter Takes a Loss

Sugar Creek Charter was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 20-1 to the Queen's Grant Stallions. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 15-0 to the Stallions when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Sugar Creek Charter's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Queen's Grant, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 12-0.

Looking ahead, Sugar Creek Charter is taking a road trip to challenge Piedmont Community Charter at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Queen's Grant, they will take on Monroe at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Queen's Grant's favor as the squad sits on seven straight wins at home while Monroe has been banged up by nine consecutive losses on the road.
