Volleyball Recap: Hugoton Comes Up Short

Hugoton was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They lost 3-0 to the Holcomb Longhorns. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Longhorns this season, with their most recent defeat being a 2-0 loss on Saturday.

Hugoton took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-11, 25-19.

Hugoton's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Holcomb, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Looking ahead, Hugoton will face off against Ulysses at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday. Holcomb has already played their next matchup (against Cimarron), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
