Football Game Preview: Croswell-Lexington Pioneers vs. Yale Bulldogs + How To Watch

Croswell-Lexington has gone 9-1 against Yale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Pioneers will be playing at home against the Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Friday.

On Friday, Croswell-Lexington blew past Imlay City, posting a 42-7 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Pioneers.

A big part of Croswell-Lexington's win came down to the chemistry between Jax Johnston and his top target Shane Slanec. Johnston threw for 260 yards and a pair of touchdowns while picking up 13.0 yards per attempt while Slanec picked up 202 receiving yards and two scores. Croswell-Lexington is undefeated when Slanec posts two or more receiving touchdowns, but 0-4 otherwise.

Meanwhile, Yale made easy work of Algonac on Friday and carried off a 28-6 victory. The game marked the Bulldogs' most dominant win of the season.

Croswell-Lexington picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 3-4. As for Yale, they now have a winning record of 4-3.

Everything went Croswell-Lexington's way against Yale in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, as Croswell-Lexington made off with a 41-20 win. Do the Pioneers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
