Three Rivers dropped to 4-6 on Friday, ending the team's three-game streak of wins at home. They took a blow against the Refugio Bobcats, falling 63-13. The Bulldogs were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-13.

When it comes to explaining why Three Rivers lost, don't look at Ethan Conn. Despite the final result, he picked up 109 receiving yards and one score. Conn's receiving production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 109 receiving yards.

As for Refugio, their win was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Those road victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they've averaged 60.8 points this season.

Zander Wills produced another solid performance rushing for 278 yards and three TDs on only 11 carries. Those 278 rushing yards gave him a new career-high. Matthew Perez was another major influence, as he rushed for 29 yards and ran in a TD.

Three Rivers and Refugio are set to take part in some playoff action in their next matches. The Bulldogs will square off against Ganado on Thursday. Three Rivers will need to watch out since the Indians have now posted at least 31 points in their last six matchups. As for Refugio, they will face off against Weimar on Thursday.
