Miami East came tearing into Monday's matchup with 17 straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. Everything went their way against the Tri-Village Patriots as they made off with a 3-0 win. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Vikings also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Miami East walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-15, 25-19, 25-17.

Miami East was led to victory by Kylee Bowsher and Jersey Cutlip. Bowsher had 16 digs and three aces, while Cutlip had 16 assists and ten digs. With that strong performance, Bowsher is now averaging an impressive 10.1 digs per game. Addison Phillips also deserves some recognition as she had her first dig of the season.

They weren't the only good servers: Miami East was lethal from the service line and finished the match with ten aces. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now served at least seven aces in 18 consecutive matches.

Miami East's record is now 18-2. As for Tri-Village, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-10.

Miami East wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Bethel on the 7th. As for Tri-Village, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-2 victory against Dixie on the 7th.
