Baseball Recap: Houston Takes a Loss

Houston made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Clarksville, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Mustangs fell just short of the Wildcats by a score of 6-4 on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Mustangs have suffered since March 28th.

This is the second loss in a row for Houston and nudges their season record down to 29-15. As for Clarksville, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 21 of their last 24 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 32-7 record this season.

Houston does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Clarksville, they will face off against Oak Ridge on Tuesday. Oak Ridge will roll in looking for their eighth straight win, something Clarksville surely won't give up without a fight.
