Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Whites Creek). They enjoyed a cozy 60-41 win over the Stratford Spartans on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Cobras, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jamila Roper, who posted 11 points. Taniya Roberts was another key player, putting up 11 points.

Whites Creek's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Stratford, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-10.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Whites Creek won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against KIPP Nashville Collegiate at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Stratford, they will also get right back to it: they'll challenge RePublic at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
