Baseball Recap: Ursuline Takes a Loss

Ursuline lost against Howland back in May of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Fighting Irish fell 4-1 to the Tigers.

Ursuline saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Rowan Urbach, who went 2-for-4 with one run and one double.

Ursuline's loss dropped their record down to 14-11. As for Howland, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last 11 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-9 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ursuline will take on McKinley at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Fighting Irish are facing the Red Dragons at the right time seeing as the Red Dragons are stuck on a seven-game losing streak. As for Howland, they will square off against Harding at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
