Basketball Recap: Monahans Comes Up Short

Monahans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat. They lost 57-34 to the Andrews Mustangs. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Loboes this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-43 back in January.

Monahans' loss dropped their record down to 1-21. As for Andrews, their win bumped their record up to 16-14.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Monahans will square off against Pecos at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Monahans is facing Pecos at the right time seeing as Pecos is stuck on a 16-game losing streak. Andrews has already played their next matchup (against Greenwood), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
