Basketball Recap: Linn Wildcats vs. South Callaway Bulldogs

The Linn Wildcats's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They suffered a tough 53-27 loss at the hands of South Callaway. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Linn has scored all season.

Linn lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Austin Dudenhoeffer, who scored six points along with nine rebounds.

Linn's loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 9-12. As for South Callaway, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

Linn has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome the Indians at 6:00 p.m. on February 6th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Missouri (Russellville is ranked 340th, while the Wildcats are ranked 318th). South Callaway's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Hornets at 8:30 p.m. on February 6th. Hopefully St. Elizabeth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 16 on Friday.
