Volleyball Recap: Crisp County Comes Up Short

Crisp County lost against Pierce County back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Cougars fell 2-0 to the Bears.

Crisp County was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Pierce County work for it, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 27-25, 25-21.

Crisp County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Pierce County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Crisp County and Pierce County will both be playing Mary Persons the next time they take the court. The Bears will head out to face the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Cougars will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
