Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Falls Church). They came out on top against the Annandale Atoms by a score of 44-32 on Friday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Jaguars also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Annandale lost, don't look at Noah Plank. Despite the final result, he threw for 256 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushed for 35 yards.

The victory made it two in a row for Falls Church and bumps their season record up to 3-1. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.5 points over those games. As for Annandale, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Falls Church will face off against Rock Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Jaguars will be up against the Phoenix's rather soft defense (which has allowed 38 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Annandale, they will take on Park View at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
