Ellicott's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Rye, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-4.

Everything came up roses for Rye against Ellicott when the teams last played back in February of 2025, as the team secured a 67-32 win. In that contest, the Thunderbolts amassed a halftime lead of 30-10, an impressive feat they'll look to repeat on Saturday.
