Recap: South Haven Cardinals vs. Caldwell Bluejays
The South Haven Cardinals were the 57-50 winner over the Caldwell Bluejays when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. South Haven fell to Caldwell 62-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams might be doing some extra defensive drills very soon.
It was another big night for Jackson Risley, who dropped a double-double on 28 points and 11 rebounds for Caldwell. Risley is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last seven games he's played. Miles Newell was another key contributor, scoring 12 points along with five rebounds.
South Haven's loss dropped their record down to 7-11. As for Caldwell, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-10.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. South Haven will take on Dexter at TBD on Friday. As for Caldwell, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against West Elk at 7:00 p.m.
