Basketball Recap: Trinity Christian Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Trinity Christian extended their losing streak to three on Friday, dropping them down to 10-14. They lost 74-50 to the Brentwood War Eagles. While losing is never fun, the Crusaders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 427th, while the War Eagles are ranked 165th).

Despite the loss, Trinity Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Jagger George posted 19 points. That was a full 38% of the Crusaders' points, marking the 11th time in a row George has put up more than a third of the team's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hayden Bowles, who earned nine points.

As for Brentwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 20-2. They have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 22 points or more this season.

Brentwood's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zyion Andrews, who had 18 points. Baylor Cobb was another key player, putting up 17 points.

As of now, neither Trinity Christian nor Brentwood have any future games scheduled.
