Football Recap: Bourbon County Extends Winning Streak to Three

Bourbon County lost to Harrison County back in September of 2024, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Friday. The Colonels took down the Thorobreds/Fillies 33-14. The Colonels pushed the score to 27-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Thorobreds/Fillies cut but never quite recovered from.

Although Harrison County took the loss, they still got scores from Karsyn Sumpter and Landon Custard.

The victory was the third in a row for Bourbon County, bringing their record up to 3-0. Those wins came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 14.0 points on average this season. As for Harrison County, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
