Football Recap: Lenawee Christian Skates Past Morenci with Ease

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Britton Deerfield, Lenawee Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Morenci Bulldogs 62-28. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three contests by 34 points or more this season.

Judah Marine was a one-man wrecking crew as he threw for 247 yards and three TDs on only 18 passes, and also rushed for 50 yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Lenawee Christian moved to 3-3 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak. As for Morenci, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lenawee Christian will take on Waldron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cougars will need to watch out since the Spartans have now posted at least 31 points every time they've taken the field this season. As for Morenci, they will challenge Britton Deerfield at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
