Basketball Recap: Dynamic Duo of William Balew and Tristen Blevins Lead George West to Victory

While George West didn't have the best season last year (they finished 13-19), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They took down the Banquete Bulldogs 56-37 on Tuesday. That's more bragging rights for the Longhorns, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Leading George West to victory were Tristen Blevins and William Balew. Blevins dropped a double-double on 20 points and ten boards, while Balew went 9 of 10 on his way to 19 points and five boards. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Blevins has scored at least a third of George West's points.
