Preview: Central Cobras vs. Olympia Titans
The Central Cobras's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Olympia Titans at 7:00 p.m. on February 15th. Central will be strutting in after a victory while Olympia will be coming in after a defeat.
Central extended their postseason success on Saturday against Jupiter. They managed a 51-47 win over the Warriors.
Joseph Gayle was his usual excellent self, scoring 19 points along with two steals. He is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 16 or more in the last 14 games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Kerry Parks, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Olympia has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They were the victim of a tough 72-51 defeat at the hands of Windermere on Thursday. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Olympia in their matchups with Windermere: they've now lost three in a row.
Central has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 18-10 record this season. As for Olympia, their loss dropped their record down to 18-8.
