After a string of five wins, Roy's good fortune finally ran out on Thursday. They came up short against the Northridge Knights, falling 3-0. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Royals have suffered since November 5, 2024.

Roy took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-15, 25-16.

Roy's defeat dropped their record down to 8-2. As for Northridge, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-3.

Coming up, Roy will be playing in front of their home fans against Logan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Northridge, they will head out on the road to take on Skyridge at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
