Recap: Centaurus Warriors vs. Mead Mavericks

The Centaurus Warriors suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Tuesday. They had to suffer through a rough 62-25 loss at the hands of Mead. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Centaurus has scored all season.

Matthew Angelo continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines for Mead, scoring 12 points along with seven steals. Angelo has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Dominic McLawrence was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five assists and five rebounds.

Centaurus has not been sharp recently, as they've lost six of their last eight matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season. As for Mead, their victory was their 12th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Centaurus' road trip will continue as they head out to face Windsor at 7:30 p.m. on January 19th. Windsor is coming into the match hot, having won their last three games. As for Mead, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Family at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Colorado (Holy Family is ranked 40th, while Mead is ranked 33rd).
