Basketball Recap: Alexander Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Alexander was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They fell 58-51 to the Athens Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 63-30 back in January.

Alexander's defeat dropped their record down to 4-18. As for Athens, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-14.

Alexander does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Athens, they will head out on the road to challenge Wellston at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Golden Rockets' rather soft defense (which has allowed 52.53 points per matchup), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
