Football Recap: Tough Loss for Fairview

Fairview was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against the Kirtland Hornets, falling 40-0. The shutout was certainly out of character for the Warriors, seeing as the last time the team was held without a point was August 21st.

Fairview's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. Kirtland (8-1) has been on a roll lately: they've now won 23 of their last 24 matchups, dating back to last year.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Fairview is set to challenge their familiar foe Rootstown at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Kirtland will take on their in-conference opponent Berkshire at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
