Preview: Omaha Eagles vs. Lead Hill Tigers
The Omaha Eagles will be playing at home against the Lead Hill Tigers at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the pair suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this match.
Omaha pushed their score all the way to 59 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They fell 68-59 to Kingston.
Meanwhile, Lead Hill was just a bucket shy of victory on Thursday and fell 42-41 to Alpena. Lead Hill has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
The loss doesn't tell the whole story though, as several players had good games. One of the most active was Nolan Turner, who scored eight points along with three steals. Another player making a difference was Nicklas May, who dropped a double-double on 11 points and 13 rebounds.
Omaha's loss was their fifth straight on the road, which bumped their record down to 12-10. As for Lead Hill, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 8-19.
Everything went Omaha's way against Lead Hill in their previous matchup back in December of 2023 as Omaha made off with a 74-49 victory. Will Omaha repeat their success, or does Lead Hill have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
