Soccer Game Preview: Marion vs. Green Sea Floyds

The Marion Swamp Foxes will be defending their home pitch for the first time this season when they go up against the Green Sea Floyds Trojans at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Marion is coming home looking for redemption after taking a loss in their road opener. They lost 9-0 to Aynor on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for Marion in their meetings with Aynor: they've now lost nine in a row.

Meanwhile, Green Sea Floyds unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against Loris on Tuesday, falling 4-0. The matchup was a close 1-0 at the break, but unfortunately for Green Sea Floyds it sure didn't stay that way.
