Basketball Recap: Rogers Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Rogers lost to Burrillville back in January of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Vikings fell 62-54 to the Broncos. The Vikings have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Dylan Kafalas produced another solid effort going 7-for-9 from beyond the arc en route to 35 points and five boards for Burrillville. Thanks to that strong game, Kafalas now owns an excellent 41.3% three-point shooting accuracy. Another player making a difference was Alton Kelley, who posted six points in addition to three steals and three blocks.

Rogers suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 2-2. As for Burrillville, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-3 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Rogers will square off against rival Cranston West at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Burrillville is set to face off against their familiar foe Chariho at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
