Fivay is 9-1 against Anclote since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Falcons are taking a road trip to take on the Sharks at 7:00 p.m. Fivay has given up an average of 10.1 runs per game this season, but Thursday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Fivay fell victim to Cypress Creek and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Coyotes, falling 19-0. The loss continues a trend for the Falcons in their meetings with the Coyotes: they've now lost six in a row.

Fivay saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Janie Badu, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one double.

Meanwhile, Anclote was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 17-3 to Bishop McLaughlin Catholic.

Lindsay Tarvin made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3. Kelci Wray also deserves some recognition as she scored her first run of the season.

Anclote's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Fivay, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-10.

Fivay's speedy runners might be the difference in Thursday's game. The Falcons have been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 2.9 stolen bases per game. It's a different story for Anclote, though, as they've been averaging only 0.7 stolen bases. Will they be able to secure the bases, or will Fivay continue to outrun the ball?

Fivay took their win against Anclote in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 18-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Falcons since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
