It was a good run, but Lima Senior unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They came up short against the Kenton Wildcats, falling 73-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Spartans have suffered since December 18, 2024.

Lima Senior's loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-5. As for Kenton, they pushed their record up to 14-2 with the win, which was their eighth straight at home.

Lima Senior and Kenton should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Ohio Rankings. Lima Senior (ranked 185th) will meet Lima Central Catholic (ranked 702nd) at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Kenton will face off against Upper Sandusky at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 161 places (76 vs. 237).
