Softball Recap: Walla Walla Blue Devils vs. Chiawana Riverhawks
Walla Walla was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 15-3 to the Chiawana Riverhawks. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Riverhawks this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 20-6 last Tuesday.
Brooklyn White ?27 made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple and one run. That triple marked the first that she hit this season. Another player making a difference was Rory Burke ?25, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.
Walla Walla's defeat dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Chiawana, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-1.
Looking ahead, Walla Walla will host Kamiakin at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Chiawana, they will square off against Hanford at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Riverhawks surely won't give up without a fight.
