Basketball Recap: Forsyth Home Educators Takes a Loss

Forsyth Home Educators lost against South Charlotte back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The matchup between the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks and the South Charlotte Thunder didn't end well, with the Forsyth Home Educators Hawks falling 74-56. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Forsyth Home Educators lost, don't look at Baylin Clodfelter. Despite the final result, he posted 19 points. Another player making a difference was Asher Fowler, who earned seven points.

South Charlotte got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Noah Miller out in front who went 5 of 8 en route to 16 points. The dominant performance also gave Miller a new career-high in assists (two). Damien Ferreira also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

Forsyth Home Educators' loss dropped their record down to 8-10. As for South Charlotte, their win bumped their record up to 6-14.

Forsyth Home Educators wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 76-64 victory against Surry HomeSchool on the 28th. South Charlotte has also already played their next contest, a 74-62 win against Grace Academy on the 28th.
